Press Intern - Walker Drawas

As a Press Intern at Walker Drawas, I assist the agency’s PR teams with day-to-day communications, media relations, and showroom operations across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and celebrity accounts. In this role, I conduct daily media tracking and clipping to monitor client coverage across print, digital, and social platforms, helping compile detailed monthly reports and press recaps for clients. I regularly work within Google Workspace to organize media coverage, maintain calendars, track outreach, update contact databases, and support internal team communication and reporting.

I also draft and tailor media pitches to send to editors, writers, and producers for product placements, brand features, and news opportunities. In addition, I update and maintain media lists to ensure outreach is current and targeted across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle publications. A large part of my role involves coordinating and preparing product send-outs and shipments for influencers, celebrities, editors, and stylists, including packaging products, organizing messenger deliveries, tracking shipments, and managing inventory.

Within the Walker Drawas showroom, I help maintain organization of samples, accessories, and client products to support press appointments, influencer visits, and editorial pulls. I also shadow client calls and internal strategy meetings, gaining hands-on experience in account management, campaign planning, media strategy, and client communications within a fast-paced agency environment.

Through this role, I have supported PR and influencer marketing efforts for clients including Cardi B, CÎROC, Skylar Fragrance, Anua, Melissa, Kemo Sabe, and JustFab.
